WHO changes its reporting

Crof over at H5N1 has a great summary of the latest change in WHO reporting, have a look at it here. Basically, WHO is not going to keep reporting on new cases in existing countries – it’s putting too much strain on some countries’ labs to keep up with those requirements. WHO will focus, instead, on new countries and on interesting “clusters”.

So, I’ve changed my source for international numbers at the side of the blog from WHO to the Europeans over at ECDC. I’m also removing the international graphs at the top of this blog until I work out something meaningful to do with them next…
